SkullClub, a recently formed duo who fuse the sounds of heavy rock and electronic music are signed to Sony Music and based in Brisbane, Australia.
The duo is Matt McGuire, producer, drummer, audio engineer and manager and John Third on guitar, keyboards and electronic controllers, who together combine electronic sounds with live instruments.
Matt McGuire has has toured regularly since he was 17 years old and achieved 55,000 Facebook likes and well over a hundred thousand subscribers on YouTube.
Matt also played for gold record and multi-platinum selling Australian EDM act Bombs Away. Artists including Skrillex, Pendulum, SubFocus, Shockone, Madeon, ModeStep, Neon Jungle, The Amity Affliction, NERO and Alison Wonderland have recognised Matt’s drumming skills.
Johnny Third’s Facebook music page has received has achieved 6,600 likes and 11,200 followers on Soundcloud where his single Young Ones has had 2 million plays, plus a million on Spotify.
Johnny performed to a crowd of 12,000 at Oktoberfest in Australia and toured around world with rock band We Rob Banks. He signed to a major record label after producing music for three years.
SkullClub’s latest E.P Monsters will be released by Sony Music on 25 March 2016, featuring the singles Restart Again and Monsters. Radio play in the UK started in January 2016.
