Nashville, TN based artist Fimone, is releasing a full fledged feminist rock anthem that hits harder than most rock releases in the past decade.
‘Fire’ will be available on all streaming platforms May 20, 2020. Produced by Greg Magers, who has also worked with Umphrey’s McGee, and Lupe Fiasco.
The track includes powerhouse drummer Sarah Tomek, who has toured with Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Alex Devor on keys who has toured with R.LUM.R.
Born inside a lightning bolt, Fimone traveled to earth through the electric charge, striking the black soil of rural Minnesota.
At the age of 12, she died and was resurrected. She spent an unquantifiable amount of time between the darkest reaches of space and the place where the black of your pupil ends, until snatched back into this realm. As a teen, Fimone faced a tornado that stood between her and her first guitar.
She downed powerlines and uprooted trees, leaving with the Fender in hand and the tornado badly bruised. Emerging from her family double-wide like a hatchling pecking toward light, Fimone found herself in Nashville, TN.

She spent the next decade in a volatile battle between good and evil. The demons were both bourbon and a nemesis in human form, the three unable to be disentangled. After spending countless years inside the darkness, Fimone manifested an intangible steel resilience to match her immense physical strength, and freed herself from her foe’s clutches.
In her liberation, she saw that light was the only thing that could make vision possible and that it would be her quest to search for it.
From there, Fimone set out, traversing the earth, hunting for the light.
